You're right.  It is a lot of money.  More than I could (or would) pay.  That's not to say that it's not worth it.  It might be a great deal, just not for me.  I don't know if there's any doctoral degree that would be worth the time, energy and money at this point.  I just don't know that it would advance my position sufficiently to make it worthwhile.
