If you haven't, I wouldn't bother. For 1C, I would take American Government at InstantCert. The wiki's pages on UMPI need a good updating, which I keep meaning to do.Unfortunately I have already taken College Readiness, so that's a bummer. I was really hoping to escape the University Experience course haha.
Just as a reminder: anyone is free to edit the wiki if they have the knowledge and ability to do so. I may be the one who does most of the edits, but that doesn't mean I'm the only one who is allowed to edit it. Things sometimes slip my mind and I may forget to add or remove something.
As far as taking American Government for 1C goes, I just checked and my Business Communication core requirement also satisfies the 1C requirement so I'm good there. Just comes down to if UMPI will accept my NCCRS accredited Presentation Skills in the Workplace course. I know they didn't used to, but there has to be a reason their page suggests it will count right?

Not sure if that link will work but it says that Presentation Skills in the Workplace will transfer as Business Communication but I fear that UMPI's chart is outdated and maybe the course was ACE accredited when this was made but has since lost it's ACE accreditation.
There is also another Study.com course titled "Business Communication" that only converts to a Business Elective so I'm curious as to if they made a mistake when creating the page and this was supposed to be the equivalent and not the NCCRS course.
