The AWS sys ops and AWS Cloud Practitioner you could also do ahead of time.
Certs are free to do at WGU though if you are paying out of pocket and trying to finish ASAP, then it would make sense to try and transfer in the max 90 credits.

The very first course is the Intermediate Algebra. Is that the pre Algebra or pre Statistics at Sophia?
