One more class before school!!

I'm in my mid 40's, self-employed and my career path is set with a degree being a non-factor for my professional advancement. This is just a more productive hobby than watching Netflix. I'm doing this literally for the love of learning and a challenge. I've also got a couple of grown kids who are reluctant to head back to school so I figured it would provide some good incentive.


I can so relate to your life situations and am in the exact same boat. I'm enjoying learning for the sake of learning. My grown son is also kicking butt on Sophia right now as he watches his mom wrap up her degree. I hope we're both UMPI grads in the very near future! Funny how life works!

Hey that's awesome! I get some strange looks, but I feel a lot better using my time this way than being a bump on a log watching TV. It's been really enjoyable overall, even if it is a lot of work. Good luck to you and your wife and son!!
