Mapping out possible routes for GF right now, and one of the routes we’re looking at is transferring from a CA community college to TESU. I’m wondering what that would look like if she were to decide to go after her teaching certificate (single subject, or general).
TESU does not have a teaching credential program, so if you wanted to go this route, you'd get your degree in whatever you wanted, and then go through an alternative certification program to get your credential. It's easy enough to do though, and the cost savings over going through a 4yr in-state CA school would be huge. Just a few extra hoops to jump through.
