CLEP Algebra Monday!

No guys, I didn't blaze the way to success but actually burned down the house! I got a MISERABLE 43 on this test...and whats worse I DID STUDY. For long hours and using ALEKS, Standard Deviants, and my math whiz son for resources. I am giving up on trying to CLEP this one. I could have studied forever and not passed because there was stuff on the test I didn't see in any of the material. I should have known when I pulled off the study guide and showed it to my "math genius" son who aced his SATS and took Calculus last year in college...and HE couldn't work at least 50% of the problems. Oh well, obviously the material is out there somewhere as other people DO PASS this test. I am just going to have to delay my degree for another 3-4 months and take this stupid algebra course through excelsior (and of course pay them another $1000.00). As a note, if you know how to work the problems on the study guide...I think you would pass the test. You may just have to find a resource to concentrate on those exact types of questions.

I started to look for what I hoped for was an easy and inexpensive distant learning course and found the following (see attached). It's from Texas State, only 7 lessons, 1 exam, and LESS THAN $300.00. Further, it was approved by EC so take a look at it and see what you think. GOOD LUCK[/SIZE]
