If I take all of the courses at Sophia minus the three that you outlined I would have earned over 90 credits from Sophia and would be transferring in an additional 22 credits but I can only use 67 credits from Sophia correct?

I'm not sure where you got this number 67 from. It heavily, HEAVILY depends on which school you choose. For UMPI, it would be around 60 credits from Sophia (you need a lab science and a foreign language; Sophia does NOT have these). For TESU, it would be around 70-75 credits from Sophia. But this depends on your choice of degree. You would need American Government from InstantCert and your UL credits at Study.com.

Quote:Also many people have said it's significantly more difficult to take the courses out of sequence, I've seen the course mapping matrix that you forwarded thanks by the way, very helpful Any suggestion on how I get help understanding which courses to take when?
The "out of order" only applies to the courses you see on the wiki. The others can be taken in any order.

Quote:Also other alternatives on different platforms for example algebra on Sophia looks extremely difficult they suggest getting a tutor. I'm just using Sophia as one example of a situation where a person might want to look at another alternative.
You could take Algebra at ASU. The cost for that would be $425 but you can try it out for free to see if you like it. TEL Learning also has Algebra for $200 but that might be more difficult than ASU.  StraighterLine has both Algebra and Statistics. They have a coupon right now that would make one of those classes about $100. Suggestions for other classes would depend on the subject.

I said "all" because you still haven't nailed down a school or a major. Each Sophia course meets different requirements at different schools. You do not need to take US History I because you already have that from your B&M school. I think you've already taken Intro to Psychology, too. If so, don't take that again at Sophia.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210
