I studied from those in a way that was similar to using flashcards. So that was my bad on how I wrote it. A family member helped me study from those slides and she called them flashcards so much that I unintentionally did as well. These psy courses are upper division but no papers to write?
I gauged readiness when I knew the material on the "end of course review slides" well enough that even my family member who was helping me knew the questions and answers with me.
Been looking for upper division courses with least amount of essays.
On study.com most upper division ones have essays, including computer courses
Correct, these Coopersmith courses don't require research papers/essay's. However, their format is horrible. 788 pages of outdated power point slides with nothing but boring text and without practice tests to gauge readiness. Additionally you pay for proctoring and you must make an appointment for the exam. When I'm done testing tomorrow, I'll let you know how difficult it is, as I have no idea what to study for. So far I prefer Study.com. Their presentation of material and practice tests are much friendlier, educational and zero test surprises.
Just study exactly what is on the crash course PowerPoint slides and focus on memorizing the information on the crash course slide decks. As far as proctoring is concerned that is a ProctorU issue not a Coopersmith issue, ProctorU does allow you to log in and "take exam now" but it is at a higher cost. There will be ZERO test surprises as long as you simply study the material on the crash course PowerPoint. The majority of people who choose this option are looking for the information and the credits rather than the flash and bang type stuff from other providers so a PowerPoint with just text fits the requirements.
In order to receive credit via Coopersmith, a student must use ProctorU, so it IS a Coopersmith issue. Thank you for the study tips. I'm happy you're satisfied utilizing Coopersmith. It's all a personal preference. In my current course, Psy 310 Foundations of Stress Management, one of the ways they say to save money is to stop using 411! LOL! Best of luck to you in your studies.
