Also, I would presume that it would be possible to fail this class and have a failing grade on a Purdue Global transcript.  That would be different from alternative credit.  Somebody chime in to verify.  Or is this like the earned credits from ASU and Doane?

So, from what I've experienced so far with the orientation course, this is a real, failable course. I was in orientation with degree seeking students at Purdue Global, so they aren't shipping you off to some isolated "free area" of the school, if that makes sense.

My course starts June 10th, but I fully expect most of my classmates to be Purdue Global students. I imagine that whatever grade I make in the course is what is going on my transcript. I don't think you have the ability to choose not to have a particular grade on your transcript if you are unhappy with it, like at ASU. I think to avoid a failing grade you will have to drop the course.

I know the time to register has passed, but I thought I would throw that out there for anyone who signed up and thought they'd just blow off the course.
