Degree advice for my son

Update: My son is working on the Public Speaking course through Sophia and TESU evaluation says he only needs these 2 other courses to graduate with his AA: Information Literacy 3SH (INSTITUTIONAL REQUIREMENT) (Not started)
To meet this requirement, students MUST take SOS-110 Critical Information Literacy at Thomas Edison State University.
Ethical Leadership 3SH (Not started)
Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) option: ETH-230 Ethics in a Digital Age
I am hoping to sign him up for these 2 today and he can start tomorrow. This will cost $3054. My question is if these 2 courses are fairly easy? Any pitfalls? Does this sound like the best plan for him at this time?
He can go on to get his private pilot license and get credit for that at TESU toward a BA....thoughts??

Does he have to take the Ethics course through TESU? If not, you can take the Sophia.org course to fulfill it, I believe.
