I was thinking of maybe knocking out a couple of courses on Study.com but I think I will hold off for the reason you listed. I should probably also hold off from that since the changes at TESU seem to happen regularly now and I don't want to take something to only find out in a few months that it wont transfer.. I still might get a BACS but only after finishing at WGU and becoming re-enrolled at TESU.
Or you could save yourself the headache and get a BSCS (or BSSD) from WGU instead. You can take the balance of courses you need from Study.com and just complete the last 30 credits with WGU and finish in 6 months or less. You'll have a good chance of earning a tuition discount (aka scholarship) for being a WGU alumnus as well.
I had also considered going back to TESU for a BACS, but with all the changes going on, I am not sure it is worthwhile anymore when WGU is an option.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23
