Does anyone know if the CLEP site lists all testing centers? I've found it tricky to contact the few listed in my area. Most are listed by the College Board as "limited" (meaning, limited to students enrolled in the institution that houses the test center) though that's not necessarily true if you talk to them.
The hard part is getting them to answer their phones, return voicemail, or even answer email. I think it has taken me two weeks to get a hold of a UOP CLEP test center, only to find out that they only test at 9 am on Wednesdays and 2 pm on Thursdays AND are booked through to the end of May. I haven't been able to reach their DANTES center for about three weeks. National University has ignored my inquiries. They are 60 miles away from me, so they aren't my first choice, but they are the closest "open" center.
Of course, I will keep calling around...but in the meantime, I was curious as to whether there were CLEP test locations that people have found that were not listed in the official list on the website. It might give me hope, because at this rate, it's going to take forever just to get booked for all the tests I plan to take. I thought it would be easier in my area (San Francisco Bay area) but apparently not.
I appreciate hearing your experiences!
