they don't really differentiate UL/LL in the way that the Big 3 do.
WGU requires less gen ed stuff and more major related work than other places. They include certifications as part of their program (included in the tuition cost and required to pass some courses). Certs can slow you down (or did in my experience). But yes he'll be mostly knocking out major-related courses.
