I would get it in writing too - from as many places as possible (advising / bursar etc). I didn't ask about the AA because I already had one, but what I received in writing said ANY two degrees (regardless of it being an AA, BA etc) had to be applied for and conferred at the same time. Others have graduated at separate times though and not had to pay again. It's kind of typical TESU - different answers, different day. I have emails on other topics where they contradicted themselves. Case in point, I was told with a second BA I had to take the capstone again. A couple months later they said I didn't. Both times I was asking about the same degree. I very if I emailed again I would get another answer. Lol.
