(Guess I'll still be voting for him -though--unless the third party candidate has a chance of beating Hillary) SOOOO -- all in all: who's ready to move out of the country????Not even close. If you really take an objective look at conditions in the USA compared to other places around the world and other times in history, we're doing just fine. Of course things are not perfect, but we have a healthy, growing economy (we might see one quarter of negative growth, but it's no more than a hiccup), low inflation, low unemployment, we're living longer than ever (even though we're overweight and out of shape), and we're succeeding in the fight against radical jihadist terrorism. I'm supporting McCain now (I was supporting Romney last week and Giuliani before that), but whoever wins in November will be my President and will have my full support and best wishes.
I'm still a conservative Republican, but I'm an American first, and I'd much rather see my party struggle than see my country fail. Democrats are my political opponents, but not my enemies -- they're my friends and neighbors.
Funny thing is, I actually might move out of the country for a couple years hilarious . I'm considering the idea of spending a year or two teaching English in Japan, just for the adventure of it. That's been one of the motivating factors in getting my degree.
