And a Happy St. Paddy's Day to you!!
In honor of....and no, I have no intention of quitting my day job since I do not have a poetic bone in my body....but I do enjoy a good limerick...!
March 17th, Four ninety-three
St. Paddy died, so naturally
We have a parade,
As a memory aid,
To celebrate Ireland's "esprit."
"The luck of the Irish" is fable
Anyone reading history's able
To figure that out
With the British about
Life was brutish, poor, short, and unstable.
Thanks to the limerick website!

Wow, a holiday where people get drunk and chase away snakes, what's not to love? Ok I'd love to stay and chat but I need to go keep my team of pet mongooses away from the green beer
