I'm wondering if things have changed and they now offer more courses of their own? If you really do get unlimited regionally accredited courses then that's a much better deal. I opened up a chat to find out (because there is nothing on their site about other course fees). The person that I spoke with said that they currently have 45 regionally accredited courses through THEM - so completely included in the package price which I believe is currently $6,500 for unlimited courses.
With the degree planning and accountability, it doesn't seem fair to say that they are horribly overpriced especially if you have the time to take so many courses (if you didn't then it would go back to being a terrible deal I guess). If you took 40 courses through them it would only be about $165 per course AND you get coaching, study materials, degree planning, etc.
The reason I am posting this is because I talk to a lot of people about credit by exam and I want to be able to give people good advice when they ask about whether or not Unbound is a good deal. But I want to hear all of your opinions about it! Am I missing something?
