If they are sent to you first, make sure they are in sealed envelopes and you do not open them. I've never heard of anyone speeding up the process of evaluation, except when in the graduation audit phase.
The application at the end indicated I will receive an admission decision within 3 to 6 days, is this normal? In regards to taking a month I would imagine a few phone calls could speed the process up, I suppose it wouldn't hurt trying.
Don't worry about your grades. Virtually no one here was a model student or we'd have gotten our degrees on the first try.
