I am looking to compare some MEd degrees, ones that don't need you to already be a licensed teacher. I'm kind of flexible about areas of study because I have a few interests, but don't want one focused on K-12.
I like competency based programs, because of the cost, and I like the pressure to work quickly. The only competency MEd I could find are the two that WGU offers. It is fine with me that they don't lead to licensure.
The main thing I dislike about WGU is they won't take grad transfer credits. I'd like to do as much as possible though VESi and similar programs to save money and time. I think the VESi credits will also be convenient.
I do like WGU's offering, but is there any MEd program that's cheaper in total than 2 terms at WGU?
