It is so hard to say, because people only use ONE course provider for a course. So a person who took the Study.com version won't be able to tell you what the SL version is like for that same course.
Depends on the course, but people here seem to drift towards SL or Study.com for most of their stuff. I think it's easier for a lot of people to stick with a single course provider as much as possible, because you can reduce costs, plus once you take a course, you kind of have the "hang" of it for future courses.
It's what I would do by the way - stick with one course provider for a month or two, and then switch when needed.
Study.com offers more courses than SL at this point (95 vs. 63), so they have that going for them. Plus they give you the ability to use the course materials to study for other exams (like Saylor) while you have membership. SL makes you pay for every class separately.
