SL will probably be a quicker option for you. You can probably buckle down and finish it in a few days. For the CLEP it may take you a bit longer as you have to study for the whole course then take a "final". So SL is probably the easier/quicker of the two options unless you would only need a day or two to study up for the CLEP. The CLEP would be cheaper also unless you where planning on more courses from SL in the same subscription.
