If you do an associates in computer science while doing a BSBA in accounting then you may have to take extra courses. Some of the computer science requirements might not fit into the gen ed section. The BSBA in accounting only has 6 credits of free electives. It would work well if the computer science courses were already taken and being transferred in.
If the associate in computer science is completed after the BSBA the second degree rules apply. 12 new credits in the AOS must be completed after the BSBA is awarded.
The BSBA allows two AOS to be completed in the same degree Accounting and CIS but would also require extra courses to be completed.
