I think they're different topics too, but TESU may call it a duplication anyway. I think it stemmed from them giving intro to computers courses credit for COS-101 when they shouldn't have. You might have to fight for it later on and it seems about 50/50 as to whether you can ever get mistakes overturned on appeal. In other words, you are taking a risk by taking the Saylor course. At my old school, they deducted credit for intro to CIS after you've taken the computer science course so there is some non-TESU precedent there.
