There is no catch - this option you are paying $20 more than just paying for the course. If you ned the ebook, this is an excellent option. However, sometimes you are able to find a free resource (friend, you already own a book), Amazon, Ebay (used cheap options). For some there is no need for a book all together and having the option to just buy the course is a greater value.

Thanks! I agree it's a deal. I just couldn't understand why they would give the option to purchase the ebook for $82, when one could get it for only $20 by purchasing the $69 version of the course. I thought perhaps it was an inferior version. Might as well just make the ebook $20.
