You can always change your mind later, but it helps when they look closely at the non-traditional credits to fit those into a specific plan first. It's easy enough to switch to Genera Management if you need/want to. And there are ways to get the Ops Management courses you need later - not quite as cheaply as some of the General Management courses, but it won't blow up your budget if you only need a couple of them.
The OP has yet to respond, but I'm wagering that since they are a military veteran, that they still have GI Bill benefits left, which in their case, budget is not that important, and it will actually help in the form of a monthly allowance if they actually take courses.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
