1) Thank you for the heads up on this! Looks like CLEP/DSST/SL are my only options here.
2) In looking at this page, it appears that the HIS-106 class would transfer in as HIS-300 at COSC. Or am I reading that incorrectly?
3) Good catch! Algebra isn't required for this program. No need to torture myself any more than necessary.
4) Never would have known about that one in a million years. You're right, definitely not the cheapest, but if I can avoid Biology/Chemistry/Physics, I'm all for it!

You can apply to both schools and see how much credit they will give you for the two plans you've attached. I think your calculations are correct. In terms of the communications and sciences, you can take SL for cheaper if you finish it all within the month. Math is math, just go for it! You can do it!
