That actually comes out to 68 units, but I'm not sure I can use the one with the 'D', so I've always considered it to be 65 usable units.

As far as testing vs. courses, I think I'd lean more toward testing (CLEP, DSST, etc.). But if a test isn't an option, I could definitely jump into a short course.
