If you are concerned about your employer's opinion of the school, why not list it on your resume/cv as:
Bachelor of Science in (degree here) - University of the State of New York, Excelsior
...or something to that effect. That way it conveys to the employer that Excelsior is part of a legitimate university system.
can you do that? isnt that a little misleading? I mean I like the idea and it looks WAY better than Excelsior college and i am probably going to list it on my resume now but still i though that excelsior college is now separate and independent?
