You are not able to take the same exam within 6 months of failing. You may go to the test center and take the exam, but somewhere during that process CLEP will discover you have taken the exam and invalidate your score and not report it to your college. Remember, one of the questions you have to answer before taking the exam is have you taken this exam within the last 6 months or something to that effect.
