Foreign Language for University... CLEP or AP?

This offers written and oral for a total of up 28 credits in foreign language.

Oh my. All I need is a year equivalent in any language.

Also, I am not fluent in any language besides English. The point was to study and learn either Spanish or Mandarin (while in China)

My school says they accept CLEP or AP. I wonder about the High School thing, though. I can find a Chinese HS to take the AP at, but...I'll contact them.

Will have to read up on it more and ask questions. I thought the AP was something anyone could do.
