I can relate to what you're saying. As I'm finishing up my BA debt-free, I feel OK using a loan for a master's degree if I need to. I am responsible (hence the debt-free BA) and would only borrow what I need to. I consider it an investment. My BA, while a HUGE accomplishment for me, does not warrant debt.
