Exfactor Wrote:Students are consumers, while college and university presidents are CEO's.Again, a stretch. You completely ignore the huge research missions of most major universities. Some of the best research and scientific advances for mankind have come out of universities, and if student tuition and grants need to fund that, I'm all for it. I'm not going to make the jump that all universities are businesses. Not every school is the Big 3 or UoP.
While you're right that students are consumers and many degrees are a product, I won't make that leap. But I'll stop here and let you get the last word because we are hijacking the OPs thread.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
