Yes, it was true a few years ago when I earned my degree; equivalency changed a while back.
As an alternate, take a look at the Saylor BUS204 Business Statistics course. At one time it transferred as OPM-351. See the chart Line III, click on the show link next to Business Electives. Not sure if this is still the case but for UL credit it's worth researching.
