Hello all! I have sent an email to TESC but I thought I would post my two questions here to get more input. I am hoping to graduate this December but found out today that I missed the registration for the August Capstone by two days. I was told via the phone that they couldn't do anything but then they told me to email the registar office to check as well. Which I did today. First question is has anybody here missed the deadline and been able to get into the capstone on another class late? Second question: I have 99 credits on my transcript. Will they allow me to start capstone now? I am going to test out the rest of the credits over the next 3 months. Second question part B. Any recommendations on the teacher I should select or avoid? Appreciate any help you can give. Chris

Yes you can start the capstone now. I did it when I had a similar credit count.
I had Steve Ryan and highly reccomend him. Use
Rate My Professors - Review Teachers and Professors, School Reviews, College Campus Ratings to look up all available professors; it's really accurate.
However I don't have an answer to the question of whether or not they'll let you in this semester.

Appreciate your reply Westerner. I spoke to TESC today and they allowed me to sign up for the Capstone and even waived the late registration fee. I also picked Steve Ryan for the capstone. It will be a lot to get 21 credits before the Oct 1st deadline but it can be done! Thanks

I have 99 credits also and applied to graduate with my associate's degree in September. I didn't have the capstone in my budget so I won't be able to graduate until December. I tried everything I could think of. I'm glad you were able to get in. I registered for 4 TECEPs to fulfill the residency requirement for the AA degree.
