I have tried the practice exams from dsst website but they are only 50 questions and they don't tell you what a passing score would be. Any advice on how I can be fairly confident I am prepared to test? Thanks for any input!
Passing score is 71-75% depending on the version of the exam the computer gives you. See http://getcollegecredit.com/assets/pdf/D...coring.pdf which has a percentage to pass listed for all exams that are "refreshed" and utilize a 400 score to pass. If you are not confident and need more time then my suggestion is to pick an exam that feels like a better match. You can pick one with a lower percentage needed to pass or seek out an exam such as DSST Principles of Supervision or CLEP Analyze and Interpret Literature which most regard as pretty easy.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.
