TECEP clarification needed

Do I need to wait until I enroll to take TECEPs to count toward the residency or do they count even if I take them as non-enrolled student?

I did email TESC about this question before, but was told to contact the Learner Support Center for clarification (lsc@tesc.edu). If you get a clear reply, please update us.
