Do I take the exam anytime within the 3 month block? Once I take the exam and pass, do I receive the credits right away? I am trying to apply for September graduation but I need to complete my two final courses by the end of July. My capstone course will be done by July, however this TECEP course is scheduled to be completed in August. Basically what I am asking is, if I take the exam in July and pass, will I receive my credits right away or have to wait till the course is over. Has anyone taken this exam without studying?
Hi, when it comes to TECEP, you can take it anytime within the 3 months block period. Though I am yet to get a grade, I believe you'll get credit once grading is completed and posted on your evaluation. I think it takes between a week and two to have your grade posted- depending on whether the TECEP is MCQ or written type.
I took the CIS 107 last week and I found it easy. If you are familiar with computer terms, what each hardware and software does, and if you know how to use computer well, I think you should not have any problem. I should add that it pays to study the recommended text as most of the questions seem to come from there- sometimes word for word, sometimes fill in the gap...
