You're going to give me a heart attack. While Wall 'em doesn't have as bad of a reputation as University of Phallus, it charges way more than it's worth. There are plenty of public schools to choose from for most of the majors Wall 'em offers. There are even private schools, non-profit and for-profit, that are much cheaper than Wall 'em.

No heart attacks...lol!

Walden is not cheap but neither are a lot of other schools. Sometimes people pay more for something else they want - like maybe being able to start class sooner and not have to wait. I have a friend who wants an online MSW program, which is how I became aware of their CSWE candidacy. There aren't a ton of online programs for that and some of them take much longer, even with advanced standing. Also, one woman I know who's getting a degree in counseling said Walden aka Wally had the only online program that was accredited by CACREP.

I believe there are other options in most cases, but I can see why some might choose Wally.
