You could be in a band.. it's not too late. My DH was in a band many years ago and every once in a while he'll go to open mic night at a local bar. One time when he did this, he was invited to join a band of other mid-40's professionals that meet once a week as a hobby and get a real gig from time to time. He wasn't interested, but there are a lot of options for musicians out there if you just want to have fun…. you could even write a book about it!
