Yes. When you think about it, a bachelor's degree is sort of like having an associate's degree and taking another 60 hours.
Properly planned, everything you take in an associate's degree program should count toward the bachelor's degree. But if you start off in art in the associate's degree and decide to switch to engineering for the bachelor's degree, not much in the art degree will count toward the engineering degree.
