I think she was just referring to the fact that these people were trying to fit together pieces of a puzzle that didn't belong together. They did not seem to have any training with critical theory and they just seemed to make the biggest deals out of the smallest, most insignificant things. It was like John Nash in A Beautiful Mind. To be honest, I would like to know what the point of the film was. I really am confused by it. I'm with sanantone in that I think the filmmakers were trying to highlight the people. Maybe the whole point is to get people with insane theories to talk about an insane movie. Who knows?

If anything I would say paranoid schizophrenia would be my diagnosis, not any sort of autism. That's just my .02.
