Coursera - Non-approved courses for credit

I highly doubt they would give you credit even if you pay for the Signature Track. Other than FEMA and certificates/licenses, TESC only awards credit for ACE-approved, NCCRS-approved, and regionally accredited courses. TESC won't even accept courses from nationally accredited schools, so I doubt they will accept unaccredited courses. They will probably tell you to complete a PLA.

TESC is generous in quantity of what they'll accept within the parameters of the type of credit they'll accept. For instance, you can take an unlimited amount of CLEP, as long as it fits in your degree distribution. This is sometimes mixed up with them being willing to take unauthorized sources of credit. I believe this is the case with coursera. There might be other schools that would bite, you could probably try any of the NA for profits, even Penn Foster.
