Don't doubt yourself! However, what "could" happen is people download, read, and return. Kindle's return policy does allow for abuses of the system, but if you're already putting it out for free for everyone to enjoy, putting it on Kindle means it can be advertised and shared, as opposed to someone having to stumble upon it here. Kindle does allow you to "sell" your book for free too. I think you should do it I'd promote it on my HS4CC page!
