I'm about to print out the rest of the forum posts on this topic so I can study off of them with my books and maybe I will find more information (is this reference misspelled?). It seems vaguely familiar from my experience with the test.
I have taken the test twice and gotten a 62 -- which my school does not accept! 63 is the passing grade So off to take it one more time in a few weeks, and if I don't pass at 63 I'll have to take the class online. Also bumping this in case anyone has recent really recent tips to add
Have you looked at these options from other providers?
DSST Lifespan Developmental Psychology
UExcel ECEP (formerly ECE) Life Span Developmental Psychology
Ohio University also has PSY 2410 Child and Adolescent Psychology on their list of examinations under development.
Charter Oak State College also offers tests for credit in child development subjects, including Child Development Psychology, administered at their site in Connecticut (and I believe occasionally at one or more other sites in CT).
