The only thing I see that might be a problem is the fact that you are speaking with the Business and Technology College at Excelsior. When I applied through them, most of my credits were useless. I had to enroll in the BS in Liberal Studies to get the flexibility I have now.
If you are still in doubt, I would call the college and speak to a senior adviser that has been on the job longer than a few months.
