Great advice on this thread. I love to see homeschoolers' success stories with CLEP! I was homeschooled a hundred years ago (ok, not quite) and even though I'm told CLEP existed, I'd never heard of it; plus we didn't have the internet or boards like this one to support us. I'm currently going the CLEP route with my homeschooled children (as well as myself!). My daughter took the A&I Lit practice tests when she was 11 and passed. At the end of this current course we're working on she's planning on taking the real CLEP. Even though I'm confident she could pass it now, I want her to finish the course first. There's always more she can learn at the age of 12
