If it is only two weeks, that would be wonderful! And thank you to all for your suggestions and comments - they were wonderfully helpful!!
I also would just like to say to anyone who happens to read this and is considering taking this exam, that it really isn't as scary as it seems. As the saying goes, "Practice makes perfect," and I certainly found that to be true. My speech was no where close to perfect, but it was much better than when I started. By the time I took this exam, I had given about 20 speeches (to my computer )...the first 10 or so I blundered through, but the more speeches I gave, they (SLOWLY) got better. I got used to getting my speech prepared in 10 minutes (3 points and write out introduction and conclusion), and coming up with something worthwhile to say on the fly. (Impromptu is not my strong point.) My greatest encouragement is to persevere, even when it seems like you aren't getting anywhere, because you can do it. Perseverance and prayer are what got me through this one!
"The one who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory; but the one who seeks the glory of Him who sent him is true, and in him there is no falsehood." John 7:18
