Is it too late to ask your instructor for feedback? Maybe if they could help direct you toward the most important points, and help you with your exam, that would pay off. I'm not familiar with the class or exam you took, but if it was an essay, perhaps you could ask to submit a second attempt? Not for a new grade, but for you own learning.
