The Cornerstone really isn't an easy course...it's writing and research intensive. I always advise people to get out in front of the assignments and be sure your on top of every due date...they will indeed fail you in the class.
What else are you planning to take at COSC? I didn't find the capstone to be as demanding...but you still face hard due dates.
I pulled a "B" in the cornerstone but an "A" in the capstone....everything else was taken elsewhere and transferred in.
Look at it this way...even re-taking the course (which your now well prepared for) your still going to be under the overall cost of EC or TESC. I would urge you to just bite the bullet and give it another go, it is doable.
