I'm really mad at myself right now. I failed the COSC Cornerstone class, because I was going to turn my research paper in late (was sick). Apparently, you're not allowed to turn the final projects in late at COSC, so I ended up with a "D" in the class and will probably be placed on probation. This is the first time I have failed a class in long-long time, so I'm a bit discouraged. This class is also a foundational course, so that's also another reason why I'm upset with myself. It should have been a piece of cake, except I must have not read through the policies well enough. Also, in defense of the instructors...who the heck makes grades due the day after Christmas? That would make it hard for students to turn in anything late, for any reason.
I'm so upset and wondering, if this is my performance in the first semester cornerstone class...then maybe I ought to just give up. I've been thinking about it non-stop. Sorry for the whining, but I'm in a bit of a pity party slump right now.
Ugh.
